Lucia Cantò's Intimate Installations at Fondazione Elpis

Fondazione Elpis in Milan presents a solo exhibition by Lucia Cantò (born 1995, Pescara), featuring three large-scale installations—Madre, Stellario, and Edilizia di un pensiero—alongside a series of drawings. The works explore fragility and transformation, using materials like zinc tubes and cut flowers. A participatory ceramic workshop, Stelle che sorreggono altre stelle, held in September 2023 with eleven participants selected via open call, is displayed on the first floor, curated by Studio GISTO. The exhibition is curated by Giovanni Paolin with Sara Maggioni. Cantò previously participated in Una Boccata d'Arte in 2022, intervening in Malamocco (Venice) with Restrizione emotiva. Fondazione Elpis fosters long-term dialogue with artists and collaborates with residencies such as Ramdom and In-Ruins.
