Luci in Miniera: videoproiezioni e realtà aumentata all'Argentiera in Sardegna

A Sardinian open-air mining museum, MAR – Miniera Argentiera, hosts the second edition of Luci in Miniera, a project that illuminates the former mining village with light projections, augmented reality installations, and sound works. The initiative, conceived by cultural association LandWorks, aims to engage visitors in creating and experiencing art within a historically and culturally significant landscape. Five new light installations—Albero del buio, Terra, Aria, Acqua, Fuoco—join the existing augmented reality works of the museum. On December 27, 2020, guided experiential tours and creative workshops are scheduled at the Officine LandWorks, with mandatory booking and COVID-19 safety measures. The project also includes the 'LANT-KIT,' allowing visitors to create personalized lanterns to place in the mine. The museum, opened in 2019, is Italy's first open-air mining museum using augmented reality, transforming an abandoned industrial area into a cultural hub.
