Lucca Comics 2024 dedicato a Puccini con poster di Yoshitaka Amano
From October 30 to November 3, 2024, the iconic Lucca Comics & Games will take place in the beautiful Tuscan city, with exhibitions kicking off on October 19. This year’s event honors Giacomo Puccini, marking a century since his death. The official poster, designed by Yoshitaka Amano, famous for his work on Final Fantasy, comes in three different versions, each representing a festival act. Amano will meet fans on October 31 at the Teatro del Giglio and November 1 at the Auditorium San Francesco. Some of his artwork will be showcased at Palazzo Ducale until November 3 and later at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan from November 13 to March 1, 2025. Notable attendees include Baron Yoshimoto, Yuto Tsukuda, and Scott Snyder. Additionally, on October 31, director Hwang Dong-hyuk and actors Lee Jung-jae and Wi Ha-Jun will unveil the second season of Squid Games at Cinema Moderno. The festival also commemorates the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons and the 40th of Tetris, featuring special events at Teatro del Giglio on November 1.
