Lucca Biennale Cartasia 2022 Explores the Blank Page

The Lucca Biennale Cartasia is currently celebrating its eleventh year, running until September 25, 2022, across various venues in Lucca, Italy. This international festival focuses on paper in both art and architecture, revolving around the theme "La pagina bianca" or "The Blank Page," highlighting sustainability and innovation. Emiliano Galigani, the artistic director, has organized several sections including Outdoor, Indoor, Fashion, Performance, and Architecture/Design, along with a guest country feature. Artists like Daniele Cornacchia from Italy, Eu Tazé from Peru, and Kazuya Katagiri from Japan showcased their work in outdoor installations after a month-long residency. Indoor displays are set at Palazzo Ducale, Villa Bottini, and Cannoniera della casa del boia, with performances and workshops also taking place.
