Luca Vitone's 'Il Canone' at Valserena Abbey, Parma
From September 6 to October 18, 2020, Luca Vitone showcases 'Il Canone' at the Abbey of Valserena, part of the CSAC – Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione residency program 'Through time: integrità e trasformazione dell’opera', aligned with Parma Capitale della Cultura 2020+21. The exhibition features a white van utilized by the archive since the early 2000s, echoing Joseph Beuys's 1969 piece 'Das Rudel'. It includes 24 artworks associated with notable figures such as Ugo Mulas, Alighiero Boetti, and Michelangelo Pistoletto. Additionally, in the church's apse, Vitone presents 'Stanze (CSAC, Parma)', crafted from CSAC dust during his 2017 residency. The final artist in residence is Eva Marisaldi, exhibiting 'Secondi tempi' from December 6, 2020, to January 31, 2021.
