Luca Trevisani's 'Cerchio' Debuts on Sky Arte HD

Luca Trevisani's video 'Cerchio' premieres on Sky Arte HD on June 27, 2016. The work, winner of the 2015 ArteVisione prize, pays homage to the modernist Villa Girasole in Verona and its relationship with sunlight. It explores human condition and the dialogue between light and time, featuring choreographer Michele Di Stefano, a Silver Lion winner at the 2014 Venice Biennale Dance. The project is a collaboration between Sky Italia, Careof, and Museo del Novecento. ArteVisione is a multi-year initiative supporting young Italian artists under 30, offering production and promotion of video works. The 2016 edition focuses on technology's impact, with mentor Adrian Paci guiding winner Riccardo Giacconi. The resulting work will be exhibited at Museo del Novecento on October 15 during the Twelfth Day of Contemporary Art. The competition also includes the ArteVisione LAB workshop with professionals like Chris Auty, Leonardo Bigazzi, Edoardo Bolli, Iolanda Ratti, and Luca Trevisani.
