Luca Lo Pinto appointed artistic director of Società delle Api as it moves to Rome
Luca Lo Pinto, who served as the director of MACRO from 2020 to 2025 and was a curator at Kunsthalle Wien between 2014 and 2019, has been appointed as the artistic director of Società delle Api. This cultural foundation, established by Silvia Fiorucci in 2018, plans to shift its base from Monaco to Rome in 2026, unveiling a new venue at Via Gregoriana 40 on February 14, 2026. The foundation currently operates several locations, including Palazzo Lezze-Michiel in Venice and La Porta Rossa in Kastellorizo. Over the past seven years, it has facilitated 16 exhibitions and 15 residencies for over 100 artists. The Rome site will feature residencies, exhibitions, and events, launching with a gathering of more than 70 creatives.
