Luca Coclite and Roberto Ciardo Double Solo Show in Lecce

The Kunstschau collective in Lecce presents Mezzocielo, a double solo exhibition by Salento-based artists Luca Coclite and Roberto Ciardo, running through the Anthropocene winter. The show centers on ecological protest, using different media to explore the horizon line as a symbolic divide between the phenomenal world and subjective perception, while advocating for territorial and cultural valorization. Coclite's video installation "Isola di Posidonia" depicts the resilience of underwater flora against human destruction. Ciardo's collage "Senza" employs packing paper, fragments of a typewritten doctoral thesis, and a plastic bag to critique self-deprivation of landscape and call for reappropriation of place.
