Low Kee Hong Appointed Artistic Director of 26th Biennale of Sydney
Low Kee Hong has been named Artistic Director of the 26th Biennale of Sydney, scheduled for 2028. He is Creative Director of Factory International at Aviva Studios in Manchester, a major UK cultural landmark since Tate Modern's opening in 2000. Hong oversees the curatorial team and collaborates with Artistic Director John McGrath on programming. For the Biennale, he plans to integrate contemporary art with music, architecture, performance, literature, philosophy, food, fashion, and nature. He recently worked with Chinese artist Ai Weiwei.
