Love, Death + Robots Volume 2 returns to Netflix with hyperreal animation

The adult animated anthology series Love, Death + Robots, created by Tim Miller and produced by David Fincher, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen, returns to Netflix for a second volume. The series, which won 5 Emmy Awards in 2019, features a variety of animation techniques per episode, with Volume 2 showcasing hyperrealistic aesthetics that challenge computer graphics. Episodes explore futuristic Blade Runner-like worlds, supernatural creatures, and dystopian scenarios with out-of-control artificial intelligences. A third volume is expected by 2022. Volume 2 will be available on Netflix Italy from May 14, 2021.
