Investigators have labeled the stolen items as "cursed jewelry," complicating potential sales. A damaged crown belonging to Empress Eugénie was discovered near the museum. Conflicting accounts from the suspects are obstructing the investigation; one accused manipulation and later mentioned "Slavic" clients without proof.
