Louvre Abu Dhabi Opens Art Here 2023 Under Its Iconic Dome
Louvre Abu Dhabi and Richard Mille opened the third edition of Art Here 2023, featuring seven shortlisted works for the Richard Mille Art Prize. The exhibition, curated by Maya El Khalil, explores the theme 'Transparencies' and is displayed under the museum's dome for the first time. Artists include Alaa Tarabzouni, Farah Behbhani, Hashel Al Lamki, Nabla Yahya, Sarah Brahim, Sawsan and Bahar Al Bahar, and Zahrah Al Ghamdi. The winner will be announced in early 2024 and receive USD 60,000. The jury includes H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Dr. Souraya Noujaim, Maya El Khalil, Clare Lilley, Dr. Guilhem André, and Mohammed Kazem. The exhibition runs until 18 February 2024.
