Completed in 2024, the Louvered House by i2a Architects Studio is a 6100 ft² residence in Edamuttom, Thrissur, Kerala, designed to blend contemporary living with the region's tropical climate and cultural heritage. The site, a former nutmeg plantation, retains its original trees and greenery, while the client's ancestral tharavad to the east adds a layer of familial history. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro, features civil works by IMEC constructions, interior contracting by Woodspot Interiors, and landscape execution by Sthithi by Greenplanet. Key materials include products from Asian, Berger, Greenlam, Jaquar, Swisstek Aluminium, Ultratech Cement, and Xteria design. The architect is Ar. Manuraj C R, with engineer Er. Amal Suresh.
