cultural-heritage · 2026-05-04

The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art has introduced "On Jørn Utzon," a new video series on the Louisiana Channel. This feature delves into the influential legacy of the late Danish architect, renowned for the Sydney Opera House. It includes contributions from nine distinguished architects, such as Renzo Piano and Bjarke Ingels, who offer their perspectives on Utzon's unique design principles. Renzo Piano notes the blend of rationality and aesthetic appeal in Utzon's work. Additionally, to commemorate what would have been Utzon’s 100th birthday, an exhibition titled "Horisont" will debut at the Utzon Center before moving to cities like Copenhagen and Sydney.
