Louis Vuitton Unveils Stellar Times High Jewellery Collection in Dubai
Louis Vuitton presented its Stellar Times high jewellery collection for the first time in the region at a private salon in its Dubai Mall store from February 28 to March 8. Designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, the collection explores celestial themes through a theatrical sequence of galactic scenes. The Lune Bleue necklace features a 15.56-carat sapphire from Madagascar arranged in Louis Vuitton's signature checkerboard pattern, referencing the blue moon's gravitational pull on Earth's tides. Alongside the collection, the Sewelo and Sethunya diamonds were displayed. The 1758-carat Sewelo, the second largest rough diamond ever discovered, and the 549-carat Sethunya were extracted from the Lucara-owned Karowe mine in Botswana. Louis Vuitton collaborated with Lucara Diamond Corporation and HB Company of Antwerp to transform these rare diamonds. The collection celebrates the house's heritage of travel and exploration, combining innovation with quality since 1853.
