Louis Vuitton Named Principal Cultural Sponsor of The Frick Collection for Cruise 2027

On May 19, 2026, Louis Vuitton will unveil its Cruise 2027 collection at The Frick Collection in New York, a historic first for the museum's first-floor galleries. The iconic French brand has also been designated as a key cultural sponsor for the institution over the next three years. This collaboration will feature a complimentary public admission initiative named "Louis Vuitton First Fridays," which will run from June 2026 to May 2027. Additionally, Louis Vuitton will sponsor three upcoming exhibitions, including "Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450–1500," set to open in October 2026, and support a two-year curatorial research position for scholar Yifu Liu, focusing on 18th-century cultural exchanges between Europe and China. Nicolas Ghesquière, the Artistic Director, emphasized the harmonious interaction between modern creativity and the museum's artistic ambiance. Originally built as the home of industrialist Henry Clay Frick, The Frick Collection has been open to the public since 1935 and is celebrated for its intimate showcases of European fine and decorative arts. Louis Vuitton has previously held Cruise shows at notable venues such as the Musée du Louvre and the Palais des Papes.
