Louis Vuitton Cultural Space Presents Anicroches: A Musical Journey
Between February 19 and November 18, 2012, the Espace culturel Louis Vuitton in Paris is hosting its 17th exhibition called 'Anicroches – Variations, choral et fugue.' Fabienne Fulchéri is curating this showcase, which is designed by Studio Adrien Gardère, focusing on the link between visual art and music. Artists like Rémy Jacquier, Christina Kubisch, Charlotte Moorman, and others have contributed to the show. Many pieces invite viewers to interact and create sound. For instance, Laurent Saksik has a theremin setup, while Christina Kubisch encourages personal music creation. Anri Sala features a saxophonist engaging with his piece, and Stéphane Vigny’s work uses mechanical vibrations to bring cymbals to life. The exhibition will conclude with a digital experience and a special composition.
