Louis Vuitton Cruise 2027 at The Frick Collection Launches Cultural Partnership

Louis Vuitton presented its Cruise 2027 collection inside The Frick Collection on Manhattan's Upper East Side, marking the first fashion show ever staged across the museum's historic first-floor galleries. The event coincided with a new three-year cultural partnership between Louis Vuitton and The Frick, including sponsorship of free public admission on first Fridays starting June 2026, lead sponsorship of three major exhibitions beginning with 'Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450–1500,' and support for a curatorial research position held by Yifu Liu focusing on European-Chinese cultural exchange. Designer Marie-Anne Derville created bespoke seating for each gallery. Notable attendees included Zendaya, Emma Stone, Jennifer Connelly, Jaden Smith, and Cate Blanchett. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière described the collection as 'a tale of two cities,' exploring duality between Paris and New York. The collection featured Keith Haring graphics inspired by a rediscovered 1930s Louis Vuitton suitcase painted by the artist. The Frick reopened in 2025 after a renovation by Selldorf Architects and Beyer Blinder Belle.
