Louis Vuitton and Singer Reimagine Two Porsche 911s
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Louis Vuitton and Singer Vehicle Design have unveiled two reimagined Porsche 911s, marking their inaugural joint venture. The initiative began with a request for a dashboard clock, as disclosed by Jean Arnault, the watch director at Louis Vuitton. Both vehicles, built on the 964-generation 911 (1989–1994), were meticulously restored by Singer using carbon-fiber bodies. The coupe is equipped with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 390 hp, while the cabriolet boasts a 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine generating 510 hp. Louis Vuitton's input includes detachable Tambour watches, VVT leather interiors, and custom luggage. The cabriolet, designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, features a gearshift reminiscent of the Noé handbag. Each car is accompanied by an LV capsule collection. Arnault described the collaboration as "a unique experience of mutual growth."
