Loucia Carlier Wins 7th Emerige Revelation Grant

Loucia Carlier has been named the 7th laureate of the Bourse Révélation Emerige on October 22, 2020. The grant's anniversary exhibition, 'Un monde à votre image,' curated by Gaël Charbau, runs at Villa Emerige in Paris from October 16 to November 14, 2020, and will later travel to Hôtel des arts in Toulon. The selection committee includes Olivier Antoine from Galerie Art: Concept. Eleven young French artists present works that engage with reality through painting, figuration, and reflective practices. Other notable artists include Elené Shatberashvili, Charlotte Vitaioli, Raphaël-Bachir Osman, Marcella Barceló, Clémence Mauger, Giuliana Zefferi, Zohreh Zavareh, Rob Miles, Ludovic Salmon, and Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis. Chandoutis is highlighted for his video work 'SWATTED' (2018) addressing cyberharassment and virtuality. The exhibition explores themes of domestic space, community memory, and the relationship between image and reality.
