Los Angeles Art Week 2022: Frieze, Felix, and Spring Break Return
Frieze Los Angeles is set to return to its traditional February schedule after a break due to the pandemic, taking place from February 17–20, 2022, at a new location: a tent at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. This marks the first event under director Christine Messineo since its launch in Los Angeles in 2018, featuring over 100 galleries from around the globe. Prominent participants include Gagosian, Gladstone, and David Zwirner, among others. The fair will showcase a 'Projects' section for large installations and a 'Focus' section curated by Amanda Hunt, highlighting 11 emerging Los Angeles galleries. Additionally, Felix Art Fair will occur at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel during the same dates, alongside Spring Break Art Show in Culver City. Notably, Art Los Angeles Contemporary and stARTup Art Fair will not be featured this year.
