Lorenzo Colli: Gen Z Artist Merging Sculpture, Dance, and Sound
Lorenzo Colli, born in 1998 in Rome, is a rising Italian artist who completed his degree in sculpture and new technologies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in 2023. He is now pursuing a second-level diploma in visual arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti de L'Aquila. As a dancer and co-founder of Uscite Di Emergenza, he served as a technical-artistic assistant for the Manifesta18 collateral event in Palermo in 2018. In 2022, he took part in the group exhibition Nomadic Art Circus in Rome. His artistic endeavors encompass video art, installation, and sculpture, with a focus on social superstructures. Currently, he is investigating extreme communication using a thermal camera, backed by Leica, and is collaborating with curator Benedetta Monti for Vacunalia 2023 and a group show in 2024.
