Loredana Longo's Wolf Poster Provokes Reflection in Caraglio

exhibition · 2026-05-04

As part of the public art project 'Take me a question' in Caraglio, curated by Andrea Lerda, Sicilian-born, Milan-based artist Loredana Longo (b. 1967, Catania) presents a 70×50 cm black-and-white poster featuring a wolf with the text 'Il lupo non smette mai di mangiare' (The wolf never stops eating). The work, displayed on a public billboard, aims to engage passersby in the province of Cuneo with plural reflections on public space. Longo explains that while the image initially evokes the ferocity of the wolf, the true insatiable animal is man. The project follows a previous intervention by Franco Ariaudo.
