Loom Gallery to Host Artist-Curator Football Match After Jonathan Monk Show

Loom Gallery in Milan is organizing a football match between artists and curators following the opening of Jonathan Monk's solo exhibition 'Untitled (Milanese Soft DJ)' on May 21, 2020. The match, titled 'UNTITLED (MILANESE SOFT MATCH)', will feature two teams named after Donald Judd and Claes Oldenburg, with custom jerseys by artist Gabriele De Santis and documentation by photographer Tano D'Amico. Participants include gallerist Nicola Mafessoni, artists Jonathan Monk, Gabriele De Santis, Santo Tolone, Lupo Borgonovo, Giulio Rampoldi, Nico Vascellari, Nicola Martini, curator Andrea Zani, curators Stefano Raimondi, Marco Scotti, Luca Cerizza, Antonio Grulli, photographer Andrea Rossetti, and editor Paolo Tonini. The exhibition references Donald Judd's shift from second to third dimension and his use of industrial materials and bright colors in the late 1980s.
