London Tribute Exhibition and Book Celebrate David Bowie's Legacy

A tribute exhibition and book launch in London honor David Bowie's artistic legacy. The show, 'David Bowie Tribute,' runs from September 22 to November 4, 2017, at Motor Village Marylebone on Wigmore Street. Curated by Monica Colussi, it features works by Rankin, Guido Harari, Clare Shenstone, and Lincoln Townley, who photographed Bowie in concerts and private life. Concurrently, Dylan Jones, editor in chief of GQ, presents his book 'David Bowie: A Life,' containing previously unpublished material from interviews conducted over two decades. The exhibition is part of a global wave of tributes since Bowie's death on January 10, 2016. In Italy, the show 'David Bowie & Masayoshi Sukita: Heroes' toured Bologna, Alba, La Spezia, and Rome, celebrating the Japanese photographer's 40-year collaboration with Bowie. The Groninger Museum in the Netherlands hosted 'David Bowie is,' the first international retrospective of his career, from January to April 2016. Luca Scarlini published 'Ziggy Stardust. In Sardinia, Oristano held 'Wild Is The Wind' from December 23, 2016, to March 5, 2017, a festival of exhibitions, concerts, and discussions on Bowie's cultural impact.
