London's Frieze Week: Museum and Gallery Highlights
The 14th edition of Frieze London showcases a rich array of exhibitions from various museums and galleries. The Royal Academy of Arts displays 'Abstract Expressionism,' featuring 150 pieces that return to the UK after 50 years. Tate Britain is home to Pablo Bronstein's dance performance and the Turner Prize 2016 exhibition, with the winner set to be revealed on December 5. At Tate Modern, visitors can explore Philippe Parreno's 'Anywhen' and a retrospective of Georgia O'Keeffe. The British Museum exhibits French portrait drawings, while the National Gallery presents two Juan Bautista Maíno paintings for their UK debut. The Victoria & Albert Museum's 'You Say You Want a Revolution?' focuses on the years 1966–1970, and the ICA marks its 70th anniversary, alongside works by artists like Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, and Alexander Calder in various galleries.
