London Art Book Fair and Friends with Books 2019 Preview

This September, London and Berlin will host two prominent art book fairs. The London Art Book Fair, taking place at Whitechapel Gallery from September 5 to 8, will showcase more than 70 exhibitors from 16 nations, featuring publishers such as Kerber Verlag and La Dïéresis. Curated by Amy Budd, the event will also present book launches and the Richard Schlagman Art Book Awards. Meanwhile, Friends with Books: Art Book Fair Berlin, established by Vanessa Adler and Savannah Gorton, will occur from September 20 to 22 at Hamburger Bahnhof, drawing over 12,000 attendees and featuring more than 200 exhibitors, along with performances and installations by artists like Tamami Iinuma. Additionally, ICA in Milan will kick off its season with Books and Others from September 27 to 29.
