Londa Artist Residency A Dimora Merges Art, Nature, and Community Regeneration in Tuscany

The artist residency A Dimora, part of the Montagna Fiorentina regeneration project in the Tuscan municipalities of Londa and San Godenzo, has unveiled permanent works by Tommaso Mannucci (Monograff), Arianna Pace, and Ornella Cardillo. The three-day program ending September 8, 2024, features a mural in the town center, a hillside garden/landscape, and a luminous sculpture by the lake. These join 2023 works by Alberonero, Agnese Banti, Simone Carraro, and Iacopo Seri. Curator Martina Aiazzi Mancini explains that the residency, organized by LAMA Impresa Sociale, aims to foster connections between people and territory through slow, immersive artistic practices. The project is funded by PNRR Cultura and co-financed by the European Future DiverCities program. A third edition is planned for 2025, with a potential open call for artists.
