Lockdown Wunderkammer: Online Show Turns Homes into Treasure Troves
Maddalena D'Alfonso, the founder of Md'A Design Agency, and Giulia Mura, co-founder and PR Director of Superficial Studio, have launched an online exhibition called "Abbi cura di te" (Take Care of Yourself). This project reimagines our living spaces as personal Wunderkammer during the COVID-19 lockdown. They invited a diverse group of creatives, including curators, architects, and artists from Italy and beyond, to explore ten themes, such as #memory and #wonder. Mura pointed out that the theme of psychedelic journeys has garnered notable interest. Contributions will be presented in various forms, like video and sculpture, aiming to highlight the importance of culture amid the pandemic. The first showcase goes live on July 1 at www.abbicuradite2020.com and on Instagram @abbicuradite_2020.
