Lo schermo dell’arte 2018: Peter Greenaway, Brancusi, and European Identities in Florence
The 11th edition of the Lo schermo dell’arte film festival will take place in Florence from November 13 to 18, 2018, highlighting contemporary art and moving images. The festival kicks off on November 14 with a lecture titled 'The Open Air' by British filmmaker Peter Greenaway, centered on his film 'Walking to Paris', which honors Constantin Brancusi. Gabrielle Brady's award-winning documentary, 'Island of the Hungry Ghosts', is scheduled for November 17. An exhibition featuring 12 artists opens on November 13 at Le Murate, and a roundtable discussion on documentary art is set for November 16.
