Lladró Launches Limited Edition Bugs Bunny Porcelain Sculpture
Lladró has expanded its collaboration with Warner Bros. by adding a Bugs Bunny sculpture to its pop art collection. Limited to 2,000 pieces and entirely handmade, the sculpture translates the iconic Looney Tunes character into artistic porcelain while preserving his irreverent personality and signature pose with hands on hips. The piece is composed of twelve porcelain fragments from different molds, assembled and decorated by hand. A matte finish dominates, with glossy details on eyes and teeth for depth. The pink interior of the ears, precisely painted whiskers, and a delicate gold lustre on the nose are distinctive features. The sculpture maintains the original proportions and essential traits of Bugs Bunny. This addition broadens Lladró's Warner Bros. collection, bridging contemporary porcelain with characters from collective visual memory. The edition was available exclusively online at launch. Since 1953, Lladró has produced all pieces at its sole factory in Valencia, Spain, where sculptors and artisans combine traditional techniques with contemporary decoration processes. The collaboration creates a meeting point between craftsmanship, design, and entertainment, introducing new generations to porcelain work and collectible objects.
