Livio Ballabio presents JCP's 'non-collection' of ten secret treasures at Brera Design District

architecture-design · 2026-05-05

During the Milano Design Week (April 12-19, 2016), architect and designer Livio Ballabio unveiled a new 'non-collection' for JCP at a space in Via Solferino, within the Brera Design District. The presentation, titled 'Ten Secret Treasures,' follows a performance called 'Ten Secret Gates' held at the Teatro dell'Arte de La Triennale di Milano. Ballabio collaborated with the unconventional duo CTRLZAK Art and Design Studio. The collection comprises ten unique pieces that defy easy categorization as design objects or installations, each representing a distinct world born from the creators' reflections. Ballabio described the works as aiming to chart a completely new course, presented in a unique and evocative atmosphere.
