Liverpool Biennial 2014: A Needle Walks into a Haystack with Tallant, Huberman, and Abu ElDahab

Running from 5 July to 26 October 2014, the Liverpool Biennial, named A Needle Walks into a Haystack, is hosted at multiple locations throughout Liverpool, UK. Director Sally Tallant highlights a model that prioritizes research, education, and production year-round. Curators Anthony Huberman and Mai Abu ElDahab present the eighth iteration, which includes a group exhibition at the Old Blind School showcasing works by Marc Bauer, Bonnie Camplin, Chloé Maillet, and Rana Hamadeh. Additionally, four solo exhibitions feature James McNeill Whistler at the Bluecoat, Claude Parent, Jef Cornelis, and Sharon Lockhart. A performance weekend titled The Companion is set for 19-21 September, aiming to engage with Liverpool's urban landscape and enhance both national and international ties.
