Live Works Performance Act Award 2018: Open Call for Artists
Applications for the sixth edition of the Live Works Performance Act Award are being accepted until April 2, 2018. This initiative, curated by Barbara Boninsegna, Simone Frangi, and Daniel Blanga Gubbay and organized by Centrale Fies, provides artists with a residency opportunity at Centrale Fies in Dro, Trentino, scheduled from July 7 to 22, 2018. Established in 2013, Live Works promotes innovative research in contemporary live practices. Artists can submit one unpublished or ongoing project, with nine projects chosen to receive a €1,500 production residency from July 7 to 17, 2018. The final performances will occur during the Drodesera Festival from July 20 to 22, 2018, assessed by an international jury. A potential additional 10-day residency may also be offered.
