Live Works 2020 call for performing arts projects opens
Centrale Fies has announced the eighth iteration of Live Works, a call for innovative performance projects curated by Barbara Boninsegna and Simone Frangi. Selected artists will participate in a collective residency from July 6 to 27, 2020, at Centrale Fies, culminating in a live showcase during the 40th Drodesera Festival from July 24 to 26, 2020. This year’s mentor is Krystel Khoury, a Lebanese cultural manager and researcher who teaches at the Institute of Arts and Choreography (ICA) in Brussels. The call invites artists of all ages and nationalities to submit unpublished works, including sound and new media art, text-based performances, and more. The deadline for applications is March 27, 2020, with the full details available in both Italian and English on the project’s website.
