Live Arts Week X turns Bologna's riverbank into an open-air performance field

From June 19 to 27, 2021, Bologna's Quartiere Barca along the Reno river will host the tenth edition of Live Arts Week. This festival, organized by the cultural association Xing, takes place in a spacious 20,000-square-meter outdoor area. More than 50 artists will participate, featuring notable works such as Michele Di Stefano's 'Lo stato eternamente nascente: e', Kinkaleri's 'YeTdespiTeKissKIssYou', and Enrico Malatesta and Cristina Kristal Rizzo's 'BOGA pezzi elementari per l’incendio del Tempio'. Additionally, Annamaria Ajmone and Giuseppe Vincent Giampino will present a new collaboration, while Zapruder showcases 'Anubi Peng!'. Invernomuto’s sound installation 'Beta Med' will feature the Black Med musical archive. The venue is accessible around the clock, with performances scheduled from 4 PM to 11 PM.
