Live Arts Week VII Returns to Bologna in April 2018
From April 18 to 21, 2018, Bologna will host Live Arts Week VII, organized by Xing. This marks the seventh iteration of the festival, which emphasizes performing arts and experimental research. Established in 2012, it emerged from the combination of Netmage – International Live Media Festival and F.I.S.Co. – Festival Internazionale sullo Spettacolo Contemporaneo, both of which ran from 2000 to 2011. The primary location for the event is Ex GAM, located across from the Bologna Fair on Piazza della Costituzione, with additional sites including Padiglione de L’Esprit Nouveau, MAMbo, and several galleries. The festival showcases 14 participants from various countries, including Chile and Germany, and features an image created by the artist duo Invernomuto and graphic designer Filippo Nicolini.
