Liste Art Fair Basel 2026 Expands with 106 Exhibitors from 36 Countries
Liste Art Fair Basel, now in its 29th year, will hold its largest edition ever from June 15–21, 2026, at Messe Basel, Hall 1.1. The fair focuses on emerging galleries and artists, featuring 106 exhibitors from 36 countries. Among them, 41 galleries are making their debut, including Pangée (Montreal) with Bronson Smillie, Matta (Milan) with Maximilian Arnold, and Gallery Ver (Bangkok) with Miyabi and Mookmintra Jariyavidyanont. Returning participants include Lovay Fine Arts (Geneva) featuring Jay Payton, Temnikova & Kasela (Tallinn) and Suprainfinit (Bucharest) jointly presenting Daria Koltsova, and Galerie Khoshbakht (Cologne) with Prateek Vijan. A strong contingent of Seoul-based galleries—Whistle, Cylinder, and Primary Practice—highlights the city's growing global reach. The fair also offers a comprehensive programming schedule with performances, talks, tours, film screenings, book presentations, and children's workshops. The “Wall” initiative continues, with five artist-run projects curated by Beau Travail (Stockholm), Cherry Hill (Cologne), Courtney Jaeger (Basel), Radio Athènes (Athens), and O-Town House (Los Angeles). Since relocating from Warteck to Messe Basel in 2021, the fair has expanded its architectural interventions, with Basel firm Martina Kausch Architektinnen developing a flexible wall surface system last year.
