Lissone Gains New Art Space in Converted Industrial Area

exhibition · 2026-05-05

In Lissone, Monza Brianza, Lombardy, Atelier Spazio Galleria has been launched in a repurposed industrial zone. The property, acquired by architect Giovanni Ronzoni in 1992, was initially his studio and has been rented out since 2013. This 250 square meter gallery functions as a versatile exhibition venue for diverse artistic expressions, featuring expansive windows and barrel vaults that reflect its industrial heritage. Currently on display is "I silenzi di Francesco," a tribute to the late artist Francesco Mariani. The opening event drew more than 300 guests, accompanied by poetry and music performances. Ronzoni, a close friend of Mariani, coordinated the solo exhibition with curator Alberto Crespi and support from Antonella Giovenzana of ArcGallery.
