Lisson Gallery's 'Finding My Blue Sky' Maps London's Emotional Geography Through Immigrant Perspectives

At Lisson Gallery, Dr. Omar Kholeif showcases 'Finding My Blue Sky,' which will be on display until 26 July. This exhibition includes more than 20 artists, such as Huguette Caland, Simone Fattal, and Michael Rakowitz, and acts as a tribute to London in response to Prime Minister Keir Starmer's immigration policy announced on 12 May. The event features uncovered windows to connect with the vibrant community of Edgware Road. Highlights include Lawrence Abu Hamdan's 'Air Conditioning' (2022), Lubaina Himid's murals, Anuar Khalifi's triptych 'Aqiqah or aqeeqah' (2024), and Hrair Sarkissian's photo series 'La Peun' (2025). The exhibition showcases over 60 percent female artists, focusing on corporeal themes and speculative practices.
