Lisa Reihana's survey, Seoul Biennale, Loewe awards, Archibald Prize winner, and changes at Christie's and Sotheby's
Ngununggula, the inaugural regional art gallery located in New South Wales's Southern Highlands, is set to present an exclusive exhibition of works by Aotearoa New Zealand artist Lisa Reihana from September 6 to November 9. The showcase, titled 'Voyager,' will include pieces created between 2018 and 2025, featuring the installation Belong (2025) and the video piece Māramatanga (2024). Additionally, the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, themed 'Séance: Technology of the Spirit,' is scheduled from August 26 to November 23. Among the seven recipients of the 2025 Loewe Foundation / Studio Voltaire Award are Chaney Diao and Taey Iohe, each awarded GBP 5,000 and studio space. Loribelle Spirovski won the people's choice award for the 2025 Archibald Prize with her portrait of William Barton. Francis Belin will resign as president of Christie's Asia Pacific in September.
