Liquida Photofestival 2026 Moves to Moncalieri with 'Learning and Unlearning' Theme
The fifth edition of the Liquida Photofestival, established by curator Laura Tota, is set to take place from April 17 to 19, 2026, at the Real Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri. This year's theme, 'Learning and Unlearning – (ri)scrivere le regole,' centers on innovative photographic practices. Tota highlights the concept of 'unlearning' as a means to challenge our perceptions and valuation of images. The main exhibition, 'Fuori traccia. Storie di ribellione, identità e nuove possibilità,' showcases ten projects chosen via open calls, featuring artists like Tiziana Amico and Gabriela De Giacomo. Additionally, the Full Project section will spotlight Victoria Ruiz's exploration of Afro-diasporic identity, alongside the Liquida Exhibition 2026, EdiTable for photobooks, discussions, and One to One networking opportunities.
