Linus Festival Returns to Ascoli Piceno with Milo Manara, Leo Ortolani

The fourth edition of Linus, a festival dedicated to comics, will take place in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, from October 10 to 12, 2025. The event celebrates the 60th anniversary of the magazine Linus, published by La Nave di Teseo. Curated by Elisabetta Sgarbi and Sandro Veronesi, the festival features a program of exhibitions, meetings, and workshops. Highlights include a public conversation with Leo Ortolani, creator of Rat-Man, on October 10, and a meeting with Milo Manara on October 11, accompanied by a musical performance by Nicola Piovani. Manara will also inaugurate a solo exhibition titled "Il nome della rosa" at the Pinacoteca Civica di Ascoli, showcasing his graphic novel adaptation of Umberto Eco's novel, running from October 11 to November 12 before moving to Volvo Studio Milano. The festival opens on October 10 with a morning session for primary schools featuring Pera Toons. On October 12, the festival concludes with a dialogue between Sandro Veronesi and Makkox, followed by a musical performance by Paolo Fesu and Pierpaolo Vacca.
