Linus Festival Brings Comics, Music, and Film to Ascoli Piceno
The second edition of Linus, a multidisciplinary festival dedicated to comics, will take place in Ascoli Piceno from September 22 to 24, 2023. Directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, who also founded La Milanesiana, the festival combines comics with cinema, music, and literature. The program includes screenings of Pimpa cartoons, talks with Bruno Bozzetto, Sandro Veronesi, Sio, Paolo Bacilieri, Manuele Fior, Francesco Tullio-Altan, and Zerocalcare, as well as exhibitions marking 50 years since the Chilean coup. Performances by Irene Grandi and Raphael Gualazzi are also scheduled. The festival aims to foster dialogue across artistic disciplines, using comics as a common thread.
