Limina Exhibition Explores Borders and Thresholds in Cormòns

The Museo Civico del Territorio in Cormòns hosts 'Limina', a group exhibition curated by Ivan Crico as part of GO!2025 Nova Gorica/Gorizia European Capital of Culture. The show examines the concept of limits through painting, photography, installation, video, sculpture, and design. On the ground floor, works by Stefano Comelli, Giorgio Pignotti, Adriana Iaconcig, Simone Pellegrini, Edi Carrer, Nicola Verlato, and Luciano de Gironcoli address bodily and political boundaries. The upper floor features pieces by Ivan Crico, Ross Lovegrove, Vanija Mervić, Michele Spanghero, Stefano Ornella, Gaia Agostini, Alfio Giurato, Emanuela Sedmach, Michele Parisi, Roberto Kusterle, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Giovanni Sicuro, Giulio Fornarelli, Roberto Cantarutti, and Maria Elisabetta Novello. Pistoletto's mobile sphere of newspapers, created with Max Fabiani students, crossed the Italy-Slovenia border on February 8, 2024. Novello's 'Sursum Corda' installation, made with dancers Roberto Cocconi and Luca Zampar, closes the exhibition as an emotional synthesis. The show runs until February 22, 2026.
