Lim Dong Lak appointed Executive Director for 9th Busan Biennale in 2016
Sculptor and Dong-A University professor Lim Dong Lak will lead the 9th Busan Biennale as Executive Director of its Operating Committee. His appointment was announced in May 2015 for the 2016 edition. Lim brings extensive organizational experience from roles including advisory commissioner for South Korea's Ministry of Culture & Athletics, organizer for the Gwangju Biennale, and consultant to the Busan International Film Festival. He will oversee implementation of the Busan Biennale's integrated programming, which combines three distinct festivals: the Busan Youth Biennale, Busan Sea Arts Festival, and Busan Outdoor Sculpture Symposium. The biennial events are all held in Busan, South Korea.
