Lidó Rico's 'L’anima non finita' retrospective opens at Sala Alcalá 31 in Madrid
From May 8 to 31, the exhibition 'L’anima non finita' (The Endless Soul) will take place at Madrid's Sala Alcalá 31, showcasing a retrospective of artist Lidó Rico, who hails from Yecla and was born in 1968. Curated by Míriam Huescar, the display encompasses more than fifty pieces from Rico's four-decade-long career, delving into themes of intimacy and the essence of humanity. The ground floor features works such as 'Secadero de pensamientos' (Thought Drying Room) and 'Piel y Memoria' (Skin and Memory), while the upper level highlights sculptures that explore the relationship between identity and memory. Additionally, a mediation program aimed at individuals with visual impairments and cognitive challenges will be offered, emphasizing accessibility and inclusion, supported by FUNDAC LIDÓ RICO.
