Liberato's Surprise Concert for Procida 2022 Italian Capital of Culture

On July 20, 2022, the anonymous Neapolitan singer Liberato performed a free surprise concert at Marina Grande on the island of Procida, which was named Italian Capital of Culture for 2022. The event, sponsored by Voiello, drew hundreds of attendees. Liberato, known since 2017 for blending rap, trap, R&B, dance, and electronic music, performed for about an hour on a boat in the port at sunset, showcasing his Mediterranean neomelodic style with Italian lyrics interspersed with English, French, and Spanish phrases. The concert was part of a dense calendar of 150 events featuring 350 artists from 45 countries. The next scheduled event was a performance by Arisa on July 25.
