Liam Young's 'In Other Worlds' Opens at Barbican Centre
From May 21 to September 6, 2026, the Barbican Centre will host 'In Other Worlds,' an engaging exhibition by Liam Young located at The Curve gallery, Silk Street Entrance, and Car Park 5. This exhibition delves into themes such as architecture, climate futures, infrastructure, and planetary urbanism, featuring large-scale projections and LED installations. Notable pieces include 'World Machine' (2026), 'Planet City' (2021), 'The Great Endeavour' (2023), and 'After the End' (2024). The exhibition is set to travel both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, the Sharjah Architecture Triennial will showcase 'A Journey into Architecture Archives: Baghdad, Damascus, Tunis,' curated by George Arbid from May 2 to July 12, 2026. Kengo Kuma & Associates also recently revealed 'Earth | Tree' at Copenhagen Contemporary, while Eduardo Longo's Casa Bola debuted in São Paulo.
