Lewis Kemmenoe's 'Quilted Fragments' debuts at Max Radford Gallery during Salone Raritas 2026 in Milan

At Salone Raritas 2026 in Milan, Pavilion 9, Fiera Milano Rho, the Max Radford Gallery is showcasing 'Quilted Fragments,' a solo exhibition by British designer Lewis Kemmenoe. This exhibition features furniture with minimal silhouettes crafted using Kemmenoe's distinctive wood patchwork technique, which highlights variations in grain, color, and texture. Evolving from his Patchwork series initiated four years ago, the collection now explores larger scales and new forms. While it originally utilized local wood scraps, it has expanded to include a variety of European woods, emphasizing reuse and tactile engagement. Founded in 2020, the Max Radford Gallery promotes hybrid and experimental practices. 'Quilted Fragments' is also featured in issue 88 of Glocal Design Magazine, focusing on sustainability in modern architectural design.
